Entrepreneur summit under way at Florida Tech
An entrepreneur summit hosted by U.S. Rep. Bill Posey (R-Rockledge) is under way at the Denius Student Center at Florida Tech.
Posey wasn’t able to attend because he has business in Washington DC, but about 100 entrepreneurs, businessmen and perspective inventors are in attendance.
Posey hopes to help investors finds profitable ideas to support. The forum will be Posey’s fourth summit for the Space Coast and his sixth entrepreneur summit overall. Entrepreneur Summits were also held last year in Osceola and Indian River Counties.
“These forums provide an opportunity for entrepreneurs to showcase their new products and innovative technologies to the public and potential investors with the goal of creating jobs and new businesses here in Brevard County,” said Posey.
The program includes presentations include by Andreus Inc., Florida Organic Aquaculture, Ion Green Technologies and Sushoo Health Information Exchange.
Business executive and philanthropist Edward W. Scott Jr. will make a closing presentation.
